Internally Flawless (IF) Return Top	Slight surface abrasions are allowed
Very Very Slight Imperfect - #1 (VVS-1) Return Top	Minute inclusions like this pinpoint above and this minute "bearding" below are allowed for VVS-1. VVS2
Very Very Slight Imperfect - #2 (VVS-2) Return Top	More minute inclusions like this "Cloud" of pinpoints above and this slight "bearding" below are allowed for VVS-2. VS1
Very Slight Imperfect - #1 (VS-1) Return Top	Minor inclusions like this "Feather" shown above and below is allowed for VS-1. VS2
Very Slight Imperfect - #2 (VS-2) Return Top	More minor "Feather" inclusions shown above and below are allowed for VS-2. SI1
Slight Imperfect - #1 (SI-1) Return Top	Noticeable inclusions like these "Feathers" above and below are allowed for SI-1. SI2
Slight Imperfect - #2 (SI-2) Return Top	More noticeable inclusions like these "Wisps" above and included crystal below are allowed for SI-2. I1
Imperfect - #1 (I-1) Return Top	Obvious inclusions like these "Feathers" above and below are allowed for I-1. Note these may be visible to the trained unaided eye! I2
Imperfect - #2 & #3 (I-2 & I-3) Return Top	Very obvious inclusions like these "Feathers and included crystals" above which seriouly affect the beauty of the diamond call for an I-2 grade. Below you can see more serious inclusions which call for an I-3 grade. It is best to stay away from both of these two grades.
